It is a restaurant, waiters are rude, they serve food, never go there unless joining someone.
I first came to the maple leaf when my sign was just under one on a vacation of mystery my dad had planned. Best vacation ever. Years later, I ended up finding the maple leaf without realizing it was the place we stayed on that mystery vacation and have come for rhw last few years. This year I brought some of the original family members from that mystery vacation without even telling them where we were staying they said omg this is where we stayed. I was so amazed how this place had made such an impact on my heart so long ago and still lived on, drawing me in. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. Love the rooms. Very homey. Littleton is such an amazing town! Its also very close to a lot of great attra tions like hobo railroad or clarks trading post. This place is worth the 2.5 hr trip it took to get up here.
Dirty shower with no water pressure. Stained facecloth and stale, mothball smelling towels. Hard creaky beds. Remote didn't work. Screen door slams. Otherwise quiet area near a good street to walk and shop. In between the areas we visited.
There was no water pressure, so washing my hair was near impossible. Towels and shower curtain were stained yellow/brown and also smelled like moth balls. Air condition unit did not look like it has been cleaned in months, had thick layer of dust on the vent. It was good enough to sleep in at the end of the day but not enjoyable.
Very clean and well maintained motel. The owners are friendly and the downtown area is close enough to walk to. It felt more like we were staying in a friend's guest room rather than a motel.
